NATIONAL WEDDING SHOW
As our first big event, we were commissioned to headline the National Wedding Show as their Leading Floral Partner. We were asked to create an exhibition full of autumnal shades with hints of green.
So began the task of deciding which idyllic flowers to incorporate to transform a color scheme into a breath-taking floral exhibition. This is a show that invites wedding planners, prospective brides, and grooms along with many others, to an interactive event that showcases brands who participate in everything wedding-related.
After two years of cancellation due to COVID, the National Wedding Show was finally returning and we wanted to create something unforgettably unique, decadent, and inspiring - something that hadn’t been seen before.
THE BRIEF
We started by sending a sample of seasonal and responsibly sourced stems from our array of growers so that they could select their color scheme and focal stems.
Using our client's inspiration, our Head Florist and Lead Graphic Designer sketched out a few designs so they could see the proposed installations. These ranged from hanging light fixtures to archways.
Once final decisions had been made, it was time to start with installing our designs. For the larger designs, these were done on sight. We were able to bring a team with us to the National Wedding Show, which in itself was an amazing experience.
With so many guests in attendance, we needed to make sure there were plenty of photo opportunities. We needed unforgettable backdrops that would be worthy of queueing for a snap. One way we did this was by placing floor-standing blossoms in front of a row of mirrors. By using creamy colors and fluffy textures, we were able to create the feeling of being surrounded by a magical meadow.
Our events team produced an exhibit that we will forever be proud of. Our unique, luxury preserved flowers were intricately arranged to create the most breath-taking displays. We invited attendees to our exhibit and provided free face-to-face consultations to discuss their floral needs and inspire their wedding dreams.
We dressed the catwalk models and watched as they elegantly flaunted our stunning bridal bouquets, as well as our buttonholes and bridesmaid bouquets.
