Our head florist wanted to create this arrangement when she saw pictures of a red and pink-themed wedding. It was beautiful and she wanted to encapsulate it with these Valentine's flowers.

Vibrant pink and red preserved Valentine's roses are in abundance and are the ultimate display of romance. With both rose colors telling two different stories of romance. You'll also find red foliage, as Eucalyptus Stuartiana decorates and surrounds more prominent blooms. More delicate stems create a layering effect and provide a full spectrum from red to pink. Pale pink Baby's Breath, Statice, Ruscus all work to achieve this color story.

Valentine's Day & The 7 Deadly Sins

This year, we drew inspiration from the Seven Deadly Sins, this bouquet by Sloth. Sloth is defined by avoidance of physical and spiritual work. The starting point for this Valentine's bouquet was the inclusion of Baby's Breath. A delicate flower that has many, varied meanings. It represents an ability to instill self-discipline and freedom from corruption.

This is the idea that an individual can commit themselves to matters other than themselves. This is a quality that is super important when sustaining a loving relationship. We pushed the connotations further by using a pink variety, as it represents gentle and delicate emotions. It's supposed to be presented to a new love, or someone you have gentle affection for. From this, we decided to curate a pink and red Valentine's bouquet that epitomizes love and affection.
